S.A.L.A.D Simulator
This SALAD simulator (Suction Assisted Laryngoscopy and Airway Decontamination) complete with “Airway Larry” Airway Management Trainer Head uses suction to enhance first-pass success-laryngoscopy (FPS-L) with a non-anaesthetised vomiting patient.
Simulates a non-anaesthetised patient for practising intubation, ventilation, and suction
Practise oral, digital, and nasal intubation, as well as E.T., E.O.A., P.T.L, L.M.A., Combitube®, and King System insertion. Permits suction techniques and proper cuff inflation with active emesis.

The SALAD Simulator offers room to manoeuvre and a slightly anterior position, allowing the simulator to be used for introductory classes as well as advanced students. Apply cricoid pressure to change the position of the trachea and close the oesophagus. Manual carotid pulse using squeeze bulb included. A rigid suction catheter distracts the lower mandible and tongue to permit laryngoscope insertion.
