The SALAD Simulator offers room to manoeuvre and a slightly anterior position, allowing the simulator to be used for introductory classes as well as advanced students. Apply cricoid pressure to change the position of the trachea and close the oesophagus. Manual carotid pulse using squeeze bulb included. Rigid suction catheter distracts lower mandible and tongue to permit laryngoscope insertion.
