Description
This model displays the relationship between the abdominal organs, peritoneum, and omental foramen. The omental foramen are the only passage from the greater abdominal cavity to the omental sac, with the anterior part being the hepatoduodenal ligament, the posterior part being the peritoneum of the inferior vena cava, the upper part being the caudate lobe of the liver, and the lower part being the duodenal bulb. This model also displays the cross-sectional structures of the stomach, kidney, spleen, and liver, as well as the adjacent relationship between the flat omental foramen and various organs. There are numerical indicators and corresponding textual explanations for each part.
