Description
The liver section with gallbladder model displays the lobulation of the liver, the vascular branches of the liver and the structures of the gallbladder and bile duct system. The liver is divided into two surfaces: the diaphragm and viscera. It shows the falciform ligament of the liver, coronary ligament, triangular ligament, gallbladder, and common bile duct. The visceral surface of the liver shows the inferior vena cava, hepatic portal vein, gallbladder, and common bile duct. Peel off part of the liver tissue to show the distribution of the proper hepatic artery, portal vein, and common hepatic duct within the liver. It is 1.5 times enlarged than the actual size.
